    CREATING AN UNFORGETTABLE, FUN EXPERIENCE IN DUBBO

    We’re David and Nicky England and we have been running Adventure Craft Hire since we purchased the business in 2016. 
    We’re passionate about what we do – providing a happy, healthy and safe adventure for everyone who uses our services, no matter what your age.
    We love Dubbo and the Macquarie River, and an important part of our work is improving access to, and use of, the river for the local community and visitors. We believe this can be achieved by encouraging people to have fun on the water. We hope you’ll join us to discover the natural beauty of the area for yourself.
    At this time, land yacht sailing is being trialled at Dubbo Showground. We're anticipating that it will be permanently located at the new Criterion bike track, which is being built by the local council within the next 12 months.

    A BIT ABOUT OUR HISTORY

    When we purchased "Adventure  Watersports" back in 2016, it was already an exciting business. The previous owners Gavin and Karla Strait did an outstanding job growing the business, providing a much-loved suite of services for both novice and experienced adventure lovers. Under their operation, Adventure  Watersports secured a business development grant in August 2014 through the Your Dubbo campaign. This enabled the business to expand its fleet of kayaks and purchase a custom-built kayak trailer.  They were also able to introduce stand up paddle boarding to  the range of activities.
    Today, we continue to build on the legacy of Gavin and Karla, expanding our services even further with the introduction of land yachts for hire. Since the introduction of land yachts in addition to the kayak fleet, and with the possibility of introducing other recreational sports crafts in the future, it was decided that "Adventure Watersports" no longer accurately reflected the evolution of the business. This is why we are now trading as "Adventure Craft Hire".
